1) Consultation

Madelange offers both in-person and virtual consultations

Madelange offers both in-person and virtual consultations for your dress design experience. You can work with Madelange remotely and have your dream dress designed from the comfort of your home without needing in-person fittings.

- Consultation can be done by phone, video conference, or in person. You will directly converse with Madelange to express your inspiration and ideas. She will stay in touch with you throughout the project and provide updates.

- Design Consultation You can choose between a video call or an in-person meeting. During the design consultation, Madelange will discuss your ideas and vision for your dream event, taking an interest in your personality, taste, and wedding style. The goal is to get to know you better so she can create a proposal that aligns with your preferences. Once the initial consultation is over, Madelange will sketch and prepare a proposal to execute your vision.

What should I expect from my consultation?

At your initial consultation with Madelange, you can expect her to deeply understand silhouettes, pattern making, and custom design patterns tailored to your specific body type. This level of expertise will result in wedding dresses that are not only exquisite but also perfectly fit your body. Madelange will work with you to select the best fabrics and embellishments for your own and help bring your bridal vision to life. You'll appreciate working with a professional designer who understands your needs and goes above and beyond to ensure your special day is unforgettable.

. -Fabrics During your consultation with Madelange, you can discuss your fabric requirements so that she can find the best materials for your design. We sourced our fabrics from top vendors, the same ones luxury brands use.

-Pricing Once you have confirmed the design and material, along with the type and amount of detail, Madelange will provide you with an estimated price quote.

2) Design & Create

- Take accurate measurements and analyze your body type. Madelange will ensure that your dress is tailored to fit you perfectly. She will take detailed measures during the consultation. If you cannot travel to Pennsylvania, Madelange will assist you in taking measurements via video conference. Alternatively, you may have your measurements taken by a local seamstress and send them to Madelange.

-Virtual Mock-up Fitting Madelange follows a procedure where she creates a mock-up using a material similar to your chosen fabric to examine the design elements. You can discuss the outcome with her via video conference or in person.

3) Final fitting and Styling

After Madelange finishes the dress, you'll have the final fitting to ensure your satisfaction. If you need any additional assistance, she'll be happy to help. Additionally, Madelange will offer accessories, hair, and makeup suggestions to complement your overall look, including the right shoe.

COMMON QUESTIONS FROM PETITE BRIDES

1- What is the difference between custom-made versus off-the-rack wedding dresses? Designing for petite body types is different from designing for regular sizes. Simply scaling down a pattern intended for regular sizes to fit a more petite frame isn't the best fit. Petite bodies have different measurements that need to be taken into account. Altering a regular-sized garment to fit a petite frame can be done with surgery, but we provide better solutions for achieving your perfect fit.

2- What is the best silhouette for petite brides? Designers and stylists suggest that certain silhouettes like A-line, fit and flare, and simple sheath dresses suit the Petite bride body type better than others. Madelange agrees with this sentiment. Because accurate placement of details, embellishments, and garment construction is crucial for designing for Petite brides.

3- What are the best fabrics for a Petite wedding dress? It's best to steer clear of heavy fabrics like Mikado and satin for petite frames, as they can be overwhelming. -Once you decide to proceed, we'll require a deposit payment before beginning production. After we receive your payment, we'll send you instructions on obtaining your measurements. Your dress will start once we receive your measurements and will ship after the final payment.
