Welcome to Madelange, where you can create your dream dress design both in person and virtually. Whether you’re more comfortable with remote consultations or face-to-face meetings, Madelange is here to help you make your vision a reality. Call Madelange directly on the phone, by email, or via video conference and tell her your inspirations and ideas. She will keep you up to date throughout the project so you stay involved and excited.
We offer video calls or in-person meetings for the design consultation. Madelange will discuss your ideas and vision for your dream event, as well as your personality, taste, and wedding style. The point is to learn more about you so she can write a proposal that fits your wishes. After the first consultation, Madelange drafts and prepares a proposal for the realization of your vision. You can have consultations face-to-face or via video conference.
During your consultation with Madelange, you can discuss your fabric requirements so that she can identify the best materials for your design. We source our fabrics from top vendors, the same ones that luxury brands use. Once you have confirmed the design material, along with the type and amount of detail, Madelange will provide you with an estimated price quote.
How much does a custom wedding dress cost? Madelange specializes in crafting unique couture designs that start at $4500. The project’s cost depends on various factors, such as the type of fabric used, the amount of embellishment required, and the project duration. Since every client’s vision differs, every project is customized to suit their specific requirements. If you’re interested in getting a quote for your project, please do not hesitate to contact us. Madelange is happy to assist.
Make sure to take your measurements accurately and understand your body shape; Madelange will ensure that your dress fits perfectly. She will take detailed measurements during a consultation. “If you can’t come to Pennsylvania, Madelange can take your measurements via video conference.”
Alternatively, you can have a local seamstress take your measurements and send them to Madelange.
Madelange has a process where she makes a mock-up with a material similar to the material you have selected so she can see how the design elements appear. You can discuss the results with her via video conference or in person.”
When Madelange finishes the dress, there will be a final fitting to ensure you are happy with it. If you need anything else, she’ll be glad to help.
Madelange will also advise you on accessories, hair, and makeup to complete your look, even suggesting the right shoe accessory.
Madelange specializes in petite couture wedding gowns.
As a petite bride, finding the right wedding dress can prove very difficult. But don’t worry, Madelange is here to help! She’s spent years creating couture dresses and can bring your childhood dreams or inspirations to life in a spectacular way.
She uses the same high-quality materials from the same famous luxury brands you admire, so you know you are receiving the best. Take the stress out of dress hunting with Madelange—you’ll love your design and treasure it forever.
Designing for petite body types is not the same as designing for regular sizes. Shrinking a pattern designed for a regular size to fit a smaller frame won’t yield a good fit. For small bodies, we have to take different measures into account. Surgery can resize a regular garment to fit a petite frame, but there are better solutions for a perfect fit: make your dream gown.
Designers and stylists say that the petite bride’s body type looks better in certain silhouettes than others, such as A-line, fit and flare, and simple sheath dresses. Madelange concurs with this sentiment. You must place the garment’s details, embellishments, and construction correctly when designing for petite brides.
If you’re petite, stay away from heavy fabrics like mikado and satin. They weigh you down. Try lighter fabrics such as crepe, lace, and silk satin instead. Large prints and lace embroidery should also be avoided.
When you first meet Madelange, she will have complete knowledge of silhouettes, pattern-making, and custom design for your specific body type. That expertise means your wedding dress is as beautiful as you hope and fits your body perfectly. Madelange will partner with you to choose the perfect fabrics and embellishments for your ensembles and help you achieve your bridal vision. You’ll love working with a professional designer who understands your needs and makes sure your special day is unforgettable.
Most wedding planners recommend shopping for your dress 9 to 12 months before your wedding date. This affords our designers ample time to conduct the necessary research, find fabric samples, and create a truly unique garment to suit your personal style. However, since we make the dresses locally in our studio, you can discuss shorter time frames with us.
Welcome to our fashion design studio! We specialize in turning your vision into reality and have experience working with various body types. Our unique process will help you visualize the final result through drawings, photos, and fabric swatches. At your first fitting, we will make a mock-up dress so you can see how it will look on your body before we cut your actual fabric. You will have several fittings so that yours is perfect—no surprises on the day!
We look forward to helping you evaluate your fabrics to see if they are a good match for the dress you have in mind. If your fabrics don’t work, we’ll suggest others and try to get them for you. We are here to help you every step of the way, starting with the right materials for your dream dress!
