Your bridal appointment is your time to explore, ask questions, and discover what feels right for you. During your approximately one-hour appointment, our team will take the time to learn about your wedding, personal style, and what you’re looking for in a gown.
You’ll have the opportunity to try on different styles and silhouettes while receiving personalized guidance along the way. If you’re interested in having a gown created especially for you, we can also introduce you to our custom design process and discuss your ideas.
To respect our designers and their collections, photography is not permitted during your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to making your visit comfortable, personal, and enjoyable.
Come ready to relax, explore, and enjoy the experience. We recommend wearing comfortable undergarments that will work well under different gown styles. A strapless bra or smoothing undergarment may be helpful, but it is not required.
If you already have shoes with a heel height similar to what you plan to wear for your wedding, you’re welcome to bring them, but don’t worry if you haven’t chosen your wedding shoes yet.
Our boutique has seating for up to four or five guests, so we kindly ask that you keep your group within that size. A smaller group also allows us to keep the appointment comfortable and focused on you.
Most importantly, come with an open mind. Sometimes the gown you fall in love with is completely different from the one you imagined.
Yes, walk-ins are welcome, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you whenever possible. However, appointments are highly recommended to ensure that a fitting room and a stylist are available when you arrive.
If we’re assisting other clients when you arrive, there may be a wait or we may need to schedule you for another time. Booking ahead allows us to prepare for your visit and give you the personalized attention you deserve.
Most of our designer gowns are specially ordered. Our boutique carries sample gowns for you to see, try on, and find the style that feels right for you. Once you’ve selected your gown, your stylist will help determine the appropriate size and color, and we’ll place your special order with the designer.
Our bridal sample gowns are generally available in sizes 8–20 and 12W–24W, although sample availability may vary by designer and style.
Because special-order gowns require time for production and delivery, we recommend shopping well in advance of your wedding or event. If you’re working with a shorter timeline, please let us know—we’ll be happy to discuss the options that may be available.
We recommend beginning your wedding gown search approximately 9–12 months before your wedding day. Starting early gives you time to explore different styles, find the gown you love, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Once your gown is selected and the order is placed, most designers take approximately 5–6 months to make and deliver a special-order wedding gown. Production times may vary depending on the designer and style.
If your wedding is approaching and you’re shopping on a shorter timeline, you may still have options. Some designers offer rush orders for an additional fee, which may allow your gown to arrive sooner. Rush availability and delivery times vary by designer and gown, so we’ll check the available options based on your wedding date.
Once your gown arrives, you’ll also want to allow enough time for alterations, fittings, and final preparation before your wedding day.
Madelange Laroche Bridal offers alterations on-site for your convenience. Most gowns require approximately two to three fittings, although every garment is different and the number of fittings will depend on the alterations needed.
Please note that alterations are a separate service and are not included in the purchase price of your garment. We offer alteration packages for clients who need multiple services. If you don’t need a full package, we can also provide pricing based on the specific alterations your garment requires.
During your fitting, our alteration team will evaluate your garment, discuss the recommended adjustments with you, and explain the pricing before the work begins.
Any special customization or design changes beyond standard alterations are also priced separately based on the work requested.
Our goal is to ensure you understand what your garment needs and what the cost will be before moving forward.
Need professional measurements for an upcoming project, custom garment, or special occasion? We’re happy to help.
During your appointment, our experienced team will take the measurements you need based on your specific project or garment. If a designer, tailor, or company has provided you with a measurement form or specific measurement requirements, please bring them with you to your appointment.
Measurement appointments typically take 15–30 minutes and are $25.
Whether Madelange or another company creates your garment, we’ll make sure you leave with the measurements you need.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, cash, and checks for payment.
If you have any questions about payment before your appointment or purchase, please feel free to contact us.
Wedding gown prices vary depending on the designer, style, fabric, and level of detail.
Our special-order designer wedding gowns generally start around $1,400, although we may have select styles available below that price.
For brides interested in a gown created especially for them, our custom wedding gowns generally start around $4,500. Custom pricing is based on the individual design, fabric selection, construction, embellishments, and level of detail. Depending on the design, some custom gowns may be priced below our typical starting point.
We understand that every bride has a different vision and budget. During your appointment, feel comfortable sharing the price range you’d like to stay within, and we’ll help you explore the options available to you.
Appointment times vary depending on the service you’re booking. Some appointments may take less than an hour, while others are scheduled for approximately one hour to an hour and a half.
When you book your appointment, the time allotted will depend on the service you select so we can give you the attention and assistance you need.
If you’re unsure which appointment to book, please contact us and we’ll be happy to guide you.
We understand that unexpected delays can happen. If you’re running late, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.
If you anticipate being more than 30 minutes late, we will need to reschedule your appointment. This ensures that we have enough time to give you the attention you deserve without affecting appointments scheduled after yours.
If you’re less than 30 minutes late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you within the remaining time of your scheduled appointment.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to arrive on time so you can enjoy your full appointment experience.
All sales at Madelange Laroche Bridal are final. This policy applies to both special-order garments and custom-made gowns.
Once an order has been placed or the custom design process has begun, it cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged. All payments made toward the order are non-refundable, as garments may be ordered specifically for you or materials and work may have already been committed to your custom design.
Clients are responsible for picking up their garments within the timeframe stated in their purchase agreement. Garments that are not picked up by the agreed-upon date will be handled according to the terms of that agreement.
We encourage you to review your order details carefully and ask any questions before completing your purchase. We want you to feel comfortable and fully informed before moving forward.
